This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

We collect personal information you provide voluntarily when you:
This may include your full name, email address, phone number, business name and details, payment information, and personal and professional background shared within a coaching context.
In the course of coaching and NLP work you may voluntarily share sensitive personal information, including information about your health, personal history, beliefs or emotional state. This is collected only with your awareness and treated with the strictest confidentiality. We will never use sensitive information for marketing.
When you visit our website we may automatically collect technical information including your IP address, browser type, pages visited and time on page. This is used for analytics and site improvement only.
We share information with trusted providers who help us operate: our payment processor for secure payments, our website and e-commerce platform for hosting, our email platform for newsletter and automated delivery, our video conferencing platform for live sessions, and our course hosting platform for digital programme delivery.
We work with virtual assistants and specialist contractors based in the Philippines. They may access your name, email address and general enrolment information as required to provide administrative and technical support. They are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and may not use your information for any other purpose. By using our services you consent to this offshore disclosure as permitted under the Privacy Act 1988.
Your information is stored securely using cloud-based systems with industry-standard encryption, and we take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. Payment information is processed entirely through our payment gateway; we do not store card details on our systems. While we take all reasonable precautions, no internet transmission is completely secure, and you provide your information at your own risk.
We only send marketing emails where you have given express consent, for example by subscribing to the newsletter or opting in through a resource download. Every marketing email includes a clear and functional unsubscribe link. You may unsubscribe at any time and your request will be honoured within five business days, in line with the Spam Act 2003.
Our website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience and to support analytics and advertising functions. By continuing to use the site you consent to our use of cookies. You may disable them in your browser settings, though this may affect how parts of the site work.
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything inaccurate or out of date. Write to alchemist@thetransformationalchemist.com. We respond to access and correction requests within 30 days.
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to deliver our services and meet our legal obligations, generally up to seven years for financial records. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to those retention obligations.
We work with clients internationally, including in the United Kingdom, the European Union and Ireland. If you are located there, your information is transferred to and stored in Australia, and you have the right to request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data, to withdraw consent to marketing at any time, and to object to processing. Our lawful bases for processing are your consent for marketing and the performance of our contract with you for service delivery. Requests go to the same address in section 8 and are handled within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available here with its effective date. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
